# Finding Work & Downloading Tickets

> Narrow the Approve Jobs list, then pull ticket files out in bulk.

The Approve Jobs list holds every job for the dates you pick. Filtering and sorting get you to the right rows quickly, and a bulk download pulls their ticket files out in one file.

## Narrowing the list

The Approve Jobs page groups jobs under their [order](/concepts/orders-projects). Three controls change what you see.

**Expand and collapse.** Click an order row to open it and see the jobs underneath. Click it again to close it. The **Jobs / Loads** toggle sets which tab an order opens on, so you can land straight on loads if that is how you review.

**Filter.** The chips above the table narrow the list to work that needs attention: **Unapproved Payables**, **Unapproved Receivables**, **Duplicate Tickets**, and a third chip that reads **Unapproved Jobs** or **Unapproved Loads** depending on which tab the toggle is set to. Combine them with the date range and the search box.

**Sort.** Pick a field from the sort control, then click the arrow beside it to flip between ascending and descending. The fields are Dispatch No., Scheduled At, Created At, Company, Customer, and Order ID.

## Downloading ticket files

A [ticket](/concepts/tickets-timesheets) is the proof a load was delivered. Tread can bundle the ticket files for many jobs into a single download.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Pick the jobs you want">
    Check the box on each job row. A bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing how many jobs are selected.

    To download everything in your current view instead, skip the checkboxes, apply a filter, and use **Bulk Download Files** at the top of the table.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open Download Files">
    Click **Download Files** in the bottom bar, or **Bulk Download Files** in the toolbar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose which files to include">
    **Scale Ticket (Internal)** is checked for you. Open **Advanced** to add Scale Ticket (External), Inspection Report, Site Map, or Other.

    <img src="https://mintcdn.com/treadtechnologiesinc/JwAd8GgcCq2vHYjx/images/workflows/download-files-dialog.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=JwAd8GgcCq2vHYjx&q=85&s=27a8712a67b3aba7f3331e12225ec2f1" alt="The Download Files dialog with the Advanced section expanded, showing the extra file categories and the PDF and Zip file format options" width="647" height="593" data-path="images/workflows/download-files-dialog.png" />
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a format">
    Pick **PDF** to get every ticket in one document, or **Zip file** to get the files separately. Only one format applies per download.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Download">
    Click **Download**. Tread shows "Preparing your files for download..." while it builds the file, then "Your files are ready" once it finishes. A wide date range takes longer.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Common pitfalls

<Warning>
  **Bulk Download Files switches off when rows are checked.** The toolbar button covers your whole filtered view, so it greys out the moment you check a job. Use **Download Files** in the bottom bar for checked jobs. Clear the selection to use the toolbar button again.
</Warning>

<Warning>
  **The toolbar button follows your filters, not your selection.** Bulk Download Files pulls every job in the current view, and the date range at the top of the page always counts as a filter. Check that range before you use it, or you may pull far more than you meant to.
</Warning>

<Note>
  **"Too many attachments found, please add more filters."** The download covers too much. Shorten the date range, pick specific drivers, or clear some file categories, then run it again.
</Note>

<Note>
  **"No attachments found."** The jobs you picked have no files in the categories you chose. Confirm the jobs have tickets attached, and check whether the file you want sits under **Advanced**.
