Add a user to a [vendor's](/onboarding/master-data/vendors) account when someone there needs to sign in to Tread. Deactivate a user when they leave. ## Add a user The Vendors page under Settings The MANAGE button on a vendor row The Users tab on a vendor's management page The Add User button on the vendor's Users tab The new user form Selecting roles for the new user Only pick **Driver** if this person is a company (W2) driver for the vendor. See [Roles & Permissions](/concepts/roles-permissions). Add an email address or phone number first, then send the invite by email or SMS. Sending an email or SMS invitation to the new user The Create button on the new user form ## Edit a user The pencil icon on a user row Editing a vendor user's information ## Deactivate a user Deactivating removes the user from the vendor's account.
