New features

Search by PO or Job Number — The Dispatch board and Approve Jobs now match on an order’s PO / Job Number and on a project’s PO, not just the dispatch number. Edits to a PO show up in search right away, and older records become searchable once the one-time reindex finishes.Edit an Order Without Leaving Approvals — The order summary card on Approve Jobs now has an Edit Order button that opens the full order form in place, so approvers can correct an order without switching over to Dispatch.Three More Self-Serve Settings — Three behaviors that previously needed a request to Tread are now admin toggles under Settings › Configuration: whether new orders default to Running, whether canceled and rejected orders appear in the Orders tab filter, and whether the driver Trailer picker and Trailer column are shown. Nothing changes until an admin changes it.

Improvements

  • Material, project and equipment filter dropdowns now load in about a second on very large accounts, instead of failing to load at all.
  • Report Settings now offers a Builder content type, so self-serve report-builder rows can be created and saved.

New features

Equipment Owner Filter — A new Equipment Owner filter on Dispatch, Approve Jobs and Invoices lets you narrow to work running on your own trucks or on a specific vendor’s. The selection sticks across reloads and matches the CSV export.Built-In Diesel Price Indexes — Tread now ships diesel price indexes for 10 U.S. regions, refreshed weekly from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, that any company can attach to a fuel surcharge schedule. They appear as read-only with a sync marker, and your own custom indexes work exactly as before.Self-Serve Order Requirements — Three more behaviors that previously required a request to Tread are now admin toggles under Settings › Configuration: require an Order Name on every order, require a Service Class on every order, and start dispatch order cards collapsed. What you see today stays the same until an admin changes it.Build a Report for Everyone — Build a Report is now available to every company under Dashboard, rather than internal users only, so you can assemble your own reports.Projects Site Filters — The Projects page can now be filtered by pick-up site and drop-off site, with chips that persist and clear like the rest of the filters.

Improvements

  • Dispatch pages load noticeably faster and no longer time out on large accounts.
  • Timesheets that record total hours but no net hours now fill in the net automatically, subtracting a break when it fits inside the shift — a net you entered by hand is never overwritten.
  • The Display area of Settings › Configuration is reorganized from one long checkbox list into clear groups, including a grid showing which columns appear on the Orders and Jobs dispatch tables.
  • The compact Tread Agent chat panel can now be dragged anywhere on screen by its header, and reopens where you left it.
  • Removing the customer or vendor role from an account is now blocked while that account is still attached to active orders or jobs.
  • Removed an empty gap that appeared above column headers on tables shown without a toolbar.

New features

Dispatch Filters That Narrow Each Other — Dispatch filter dropdowns now respect every filter you already have applied — including the search box, requester, order state, department and equipment type — and related filters narrow one another, so picking a pickup site limits the dropoff list to the sites actually paired with it. Dropdowns also no longer shrink in a way that hid an option you had already selected.Self-Serve Pickup & Dropoff Column — Hiding the Pickup & Dropoff column on Dispatch order cards is now an admin toggle under Settings › Configuration instead of a Tread-managed switch. What you see today stays the same until an admin changes it.
Web

New features

Smarter Dispatch Filters — Dispatch filter dropdowns now only offer values that actually exist under your other active filters, so you stop scrolling past options that would return nothing. New Equipment and Collaborator filters have been added, and the Customer and Vendor dropdowns can be narrowed by typing.Self-Serve Dispatch Display Settings — Four Dispatch display options moved from Tread-managed switches to admin toggles under Settings › Configuration: hiding Start Time, Material and Equipment Type on order cards, and showing the Truck & Trailer column on the jobs table. What you see today stays the same until an admin changes it.Stop the Tread Agent Mid-Answer — A Stop button now lets you end a Tread Agent response while it is still being written. Whatever it produced is kept and the input box re-enables, so you can rephrase without waiting for a long answer to finish.

Improvements

  • Dispatch pages that depend on job statistics load noticeably faster under heavy load.
  • A Tread Agent error is now a compact message with a link to start a new chat, instead of a large block of text.
  • Settings › API Credentials has a new “Copy as LLM Prompt” button that copies a ready-made brief for pointing an AI coding assistant at the Tread API — the brief never includes your key.
  • Truncated company names in the company picker now show the full name on hover.
  • Rows in the top-right account menu have consistent spacing and alignment.
Web

New features

Dispatch order sort — Admins can now set how the Dispatch Orders list is sorted — by dispatch number, highest first, or by most recently created — from Administration › Configuration. This previously required a request to Tread. Your current sort order is unchanged.
Web

New features

  • The Actions column on data grids now stays pinned to the far right and is properly sized.
Mobile

New features

Order rate change controls — Unchecking “Apply rate changes to the project and other existing orders” now keeps the change on that order alone and stops it from tracking the project’s rates. A clearer impact sheet shows exactly what will be affected before anything cascades. See how rate changes flow.

Improvements

  • Hourly drivers get clearer timesheet entry points on the job Info tab, and only see “Log Your Hours” when the rate that pays them is hourly.
  • Create Driver, Add Account, Create Site, and Copy & Edit Order forms now keep your input across an app background or restart.
  • Drivers on approximate location are now prompted to restore precise location, so their tracking stops going stale.
  • Time Log now shows the stop time you saved instead of the current time.
Web

New features

Equipment ownership: internal and vendor trucks — The Equipment page now has dedicated Internal Trucks and Vendor Trucks tabs, replacing the old Visibility filter. Designate which connected vendor owns each piece of equipment. The correct owner and “Shared by” details appear from every seat in the sharing chain, including CSV import and export.Settings → Billing — Billing contacts can now view and pay Tread invoices directly from Settings → Billing. See open and paid invoices, set up bank payments (ACH), view your bank account on file, and access the billing portal, all self-serve.Deleted Records — A new Settings → Deleted Records page lets you browse discarded Orders, Jobs, Projects, and Tickets in a tabbed view. Ticket images display as thumbnails with a lightbox for full-size viewing.Dispatch Drivers: Orders view — The unassigned column on Dispatch → Drivers now has an Orders sub-tab alongside Jobs. Orders are grouped into cards showing order details and customer, with a persistent view toggle.

  • The Add On assignment form is simplified: Add On Types default to all, and you can create new Add Ons inline without leaving the form.

  • Quote PDF: freight lines now show estimated quantity and line totals when a rate card quantity is set.
