Tread texts drivers and office users so nobody has to call to share a dispatch, a login code, or a missing ticket. Different texts come from different numbers. Only one of them belongs to your company.

Which number sends each text

Tread’s notification numbers are a group of local numbers. Two drivers can get texts from different numbers, depending on where they are.

Common questions

Yes for your Driver Agent number. It’s your company’s own number and doesn’t change. Drivers should save it so they know Ticket Chaser texts come from Tread. For other texts, save the number a driver actually receives texts from. Don’t share one number with every driver, because the number can be different from one driver to the next.
Open Settings → Agents. The Driver Agent card lists the phone number(s) drivers text to upload tickets. It only appears once Tread has turned on Ticket Chaser for your account. See Agent Configurations.
Unblock the number in the phone’s blocked list, then text START to it. If the driver replied STOP to a Tread text, texting START to the same number turns texts back on.If the driver doesn’t know which number they blocked, contact Tread support with the driver’s name and phone number.
Only to two kinds. Drivers with Enable Text To Accept reply Yes or No to accept or decline a dispatch. Drivers reply to Ticket Chaser with photos of their tickets. Replies to other texts don’t reach your dispatchers. Drivers should use the app or call the office instead.
Each user sets their own notification preferences for dispatch alerts. App invites, login codes, and Ticket Chaser texts aren’t part of those preferences. See the FAQ.

Language

Texts and push notifications from Tread are in English, whatever language the app is set to. Some emails can be in Spanish or French. Details your team types, such as site names, notes, and messages to drivers, appear exactly as entered. Each user’s account language is English by default. Spanish and French are also supported. To change it, contact Tread support. The driver app is available in English, Spanish, and Punjabi. A driver picks the language in the app’s settings. That choice only changes the app screens on their phone. It doesn’t change their account language, texts, or push notifications. The web app is in English.
For drivers who read Spanish or Punjabi first, set the app language when they install it. The screens they use every day will be in their language, even though texts and push notifications stay in English.
